This course covers cargo securement end to end: the performance standard the securement system must meet and the forces behind it, the aggregate working load limit and why what a tiedown contributes is not what is stamped on it, the minimum tiedown count by length and weight and how blocking changes it, the inspection duty that continues through the trip, and the commodity-specific rules that displace the general ones. The course is organized into five modules of short lessons, followed by a final quiz.
