Refund Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

We want you to feel confident purchasing a TruckRules course. Courses on this site are sold by TruckRules LLC (“TruckRules,” “we,” or “us”). This Refund Policy explains when you can get a refund. It is part of our Terms & Conditions.

If you have any questions, contact us at info@truckrules.com.

Our refund policy in short. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as long as you have not yet started the course. Once you have started a course, that purchase is non-refundable. A refund ends the access that purchase paid for. Free courses involve no payment, so nothing is charged and there is nothing to refund.

What “started” means. A course is considered “started” once you have completed any lesson in it. You complete a lesson by selecting the button at the end of it that takes you forward, such as “Next Lesson” or “Go to Quiz.” Our system records when each lesson is completed, so we can see whether a course has been started. The course must still be unstarted when we review your request: if a lesson is completed after you write to us, the course counts as started and the purchase is no longer refundable.

The 14-day window. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the date of purchase. That is the purchase date shown on your receipt, which you can find under Purchases in your account. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable, even if you have not started the course.

How to request a refund. To request a refund, email us at info@truckrules.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Refund Request.” Include your name and the course you purchased. If it is easier, use the contact form on our Contact page instead. We will not refuse a request for arriving a different way or without that subject line; those details only help us find your account faster. We reply to refund requests within 2 business days to confirm whether your purchase qualifies. Whether your request is within the 14 days depends on when it reaches us, not on when we reply.

How refunds are processed. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor. It may take a few business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. Once a refund is issued, the access that purchase paid for ends and the course is removed from your account. You are welcome to buy it again at any time. A certificate you have already earned stays valid and stays available to download.

Partial refunds. Most refunds are for the full purchase price. Sometimes a purchase falls outside the rules above and we would still rather put things right, and in those cases we may offer a partial refund instead. A partial refund is a one-off courtesy, decided case by case and agreed with you by email before it is issued. It is not something you can require, and it works the same way a full refund does: accepting one ends the access that purchase paid for.

If something is wrong with the course. The 14-day window and the started rule are about changing your mind. They do not apply when the course itself is the problem. If you cannot get into a course you paid for, something in it does not work, or it is materially different from what the course page described, email us and tell us what happened. We will put it right, and if we cannot, we will refund the purchase, whether or not you have started the course and whether or not the 14 days have passed.

Charged twice, or bought the wrong course. If you were charged twice for the same course, we refund the extra charge in full, whatever the course shows. If you bought the wrong course by mistake, tell us within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it or move you to the course you meant, as long as you have not worked your way through the one you bought. Opening a course to see what is in it does not count against you here.

If we withdraw a course. If we stop selling a course you have already bought, you keep your access to it. If we ever remove your access to a course you bought and have not finished, we will refund that purchase even if the 14 days have passed.

Disputing a charge with your bank. If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first at info@truckrules.com. We can usually sort it out faster than a bank dispute. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead, the access that purchase gave you ends once the bank takes the payment back. We don’t also issue a refund, because the bank has already taken the payment back. If the dispute is decided in our favor, your access comes back. Any certificate you have already earned stays valid.

Accounts terminated for violations. If we suspend or terminate your account because you violated our Terms & Conditions (for example, sharing your login or misusing course content), you will not be entitled to a refund.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. The policy that applies to your purchase is the one in effect at the time you bought the course.
