This course covers the drug and alcohol testing program end to end: what a compliant program contains beyond the tests themselves, the prohibitions including the two alcohol thresholds and the four-hour rule, the six required tests and the clock each one runs on, how a test is actually conducted under Part 40 and why a laboratory positive is not a verified positive, and what it takes to run the program day to day (the trained supervisor, the written policy, the records and the reporting deadlines). It is the other half of the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse course: the Clearinghouse is where results go, and this is what produces them. The course is organized into five modules of short lessons, followed by a final quiz.
